ELKO — Children’s Dentistry of Elko, located at 2578 Idaho St., will be having an open house from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 7. All are welcome to attend this open house in order to get a sneak peek at Dr. Dallin Young’s new office. Light refreshments will be provided. Bring your friends.

Come join us July 28 at the Sherman Station for the Annual Sherman Dinner and Auction.

This year’s theme is Western, so come dressed in your bandannas, cowboy hats and boots. Tickets are $50 per person, $80 per couple and $320 per table. Call the chamber at 738-7135 for information and stop on by the Elko Area Chamber of Commerce to purchase your tickets.

The $2,500 Chamber Check Raffle is still going strong. Tickets are available at the Elko Area Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are only $20 each and we are limiting the amount sold to 500. Chamber Checks can be used at any of our chamber member businesses for products or services and make great gifts. For a full list of members, visit our website: or stop by the Sherman Station to pick up our Business Directory. The winner will be drawn during Business After Hours at 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at the chamber. The winner of the $2,500 Chamber Check Raffle need not be present to win. Tickets are available now, so contact the chamber to get yours before they’re gone.

Please join us from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday for Business After Hours. This month’s event will be hosted by Frontier Communications and PACE Coalition and will be held at the Western Folklife Center in downtown Elko. There will be lots of food, fun, networking opportunities and, as always, great raffle prizes.

As we head into the event season, there is sure to be something going on to suit everybody’s interests. If you have any questions or would like us to help spread the word about an event you have coming up, feel free to call us any time at 738-7135.
