ELKO — The dogs are coming to town.

A new fast-food restaurant, Chicago Dogs, has its grand opening scheduled for July 15.

Serving Chicago-style hot dogs and Polish sausages made with Vienna beef, Chicago Dogs is located at the Elko Junction Shopping Center next to Port of Subs.

“We’re basically going to bring to Elko something that’s not here, with great customer service and hand-cut fries,” said Brad Bolotin, CEO of Encore and Sleep Source.

Bolotin, who comes from Chicago, is bringing some of his hometown to Elko. Bolotin hopes to make Chicago Dogs similar in style to an In-N-Out, with a simple but customizable menu.

“We’re going to dress the hot dog or Polish the way you want it,” Bolotin said.

The restaurant will also serve hand-cut french fries and onion rings.

Vienna Beef was founded in 1893 by Austrian-Hungarian immigrants Emil Rechel and Sam Ladany, according to its website. The company sells a variety of retail products.
