CARLIN — The Nevada Highway Patrol reopened all lanes of the Carlin tunnels just before noon Wednesday after a two-car crash closed the eastbound lanes an hour and a half earlier, according to Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Jim Stewart.

Stewart reported minor injuries, but had no immediate details.

The tunnels reopened much faster than they did last month when a six-vehicle crash kept both sides of the highway closed for close to five hours.

Stewart said he would have more information on the crash as the NHP finishes their investigation.
