ELKO — More than 950 people packed into the auditorium at the Elko Convention Center to show support and remember the life of J.M. Capriola Co. owner Paula Wright.

Wright, 59, was killed in a horse riding accident June 20, when her horse fell on top of her as she attempted to mount.

A longtime businesswoman, Wright and her husband, Doug, purchased Capriola in 1985, and operated the business alongside their son, John.
