Donald Lee Thomson, 56 of Elko NV, was welcomed by our Heavenly Father on October 17, 2017 at NNRH after a short fight with Respiratory failure. Born in Mountain Home, Idaho, to William Clinton Thomson and Marjorie (Morse) Thomson on September 24, 1961. He enjoyed refinishing wood Furniture, and driving commercial trucks for Vega Construction. He was an avid outdoor adventurer and enjoyed living in The Northwest’s rugged environment. He chose to live out his days in Nevada because he loved the people, the land and the animals. Donald is survived by Debbie, and daughter Tera and her husband Luis and two children Kylie and Chase; his siblings Jack, Billie Rae, Robert, Chrisie and Danie and by 22 Nieces and 19 Nephews and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He was proceeded in death by Grandmother Lillian (Bellinger) Morse, Brother Thomas Clinton Thomson, Grandfather Thomas Harrington Morse, Father William Clinton Thomson, Mother Majorie Lousie (Morse) Thomson. Donald will be remembered by Family and Friends as a compassionate person with a huge heart and who loved to make others laugh. Family will be having a private celebration at a later date to honor the man they called Dad, Brother, Uncle and the Duck. Remember the man we loved that all made us smile.
