Mathew passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, June 16th, 2013. Mathew was born on September 26th, 1986 to Rod Hill and Terry Reed. He is survived by his Father Rod, Mother Terry, Son Tristin, Daughter Nevaeh, Brother Daniel, Nieces Emilee and Alexis, Grandparents Robin (Cap) and Sue.

Mathew was born in Las Vegas, NV and lived there until moving to Elko in 1995 with his father, mother and brother. He was active in Elko little league until age 13. His hobbies consisted of video games, weight lifting, and spending time with his exotic pets. But his one real passion in life was fishing with his Dad and Brother. Mathew worked at many different businesses in and around Elko, but his favorite type of work was diesel engines.

Mathew had a great outlook on life and his cheerful smile and happy disposition will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Myself and the rest of the Elko Warriors are sorry for your loss. I, personally, will keep you and your family in my prayers. In knowing Matt, very rarely do you meet individuals with as much heart and dedication. It was to my benefit to know him.
