December 30, 1944—January 17, 2018
Vera ‘Elaine’ Richardson Elaine attended grade school in Moses Lake, Washington and high school in Puyallup, Washington. After high school she married Grant S. Richardson, they had four children together. Business brought them to live many places across the Western United States eventually settling in Elko where she was a long-time resident, loved the Ruby Mountains and was an active member of the community.
Mom was truly amazing. She lived a life of love that she displayed to not only our family, but to everyone that crossed her path-she truly had a compassionate, open heart.
Her level of integrity, dignity, honesty, willingness to help and give to others was unsurpassed. She was also a very humble woman with a wealth of knowledge, a great sense of humor and an incredibly positive attitude even during challenging times.
Words cannot even begin to express how much she is loved and missed.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph M. and Irene V. (Hoskins) Yegge, a brother; Robert J. Weeks, and son; Grant Victor Richardson.
She is survived by her children Christina L. Tidwell, Carrie L. Murray and Steven N. Richardson; grandchildren; Nicole C. Olsen, Zachary B. Murray, Ian N. Murray, Hayden S. Murray, Nigel J.
