ELKO — The POW*MIA Elko Awareness Association revved down Idaho Street on Friday for its annual Jamboree parade.

About 40 bikes participated in the procession, as well as a few cars and trucks, to show support for the association.

Jim Brian, POW*MIA Elko Awareness Association sergeant-at-arms, said people look forward to the association’s participation in the Jamboree every year.

“We’ve got information pamphlets,” Brian said. “That’s our job is to bring out awareness.”
