ELKO – Police responded to a disturbance at the Thunderbird Motel when an intoxicated man was damaging cars in the motel’s parking lot.
Tyler Barr, 21, was arrested early Friday morning when a witness saw him kicking the doors of parked cars.
Barr did not have any clear motivation for kicking the doors of parked cars other than his intoxication, according to police.
Police Sgt. Jason Pepper said that Barr was not compliant when officers placed him under arrest.
“When they tried to take him into custody he kicked an officer and also spit on an officer and kicked that officer so that just added charges,” he said.
Barr was changed with two counts of battery by prisoner, unlawful acts related to human excrement or bodily fluid and resisting a public officer. His bail was set at $46,140.
