WEST WENDOVER – A man called in a bomb threat from the casino he was gambling at in West Wendover on Saturday.
Cayden Burke, 22, of Murray, Utah, allegedly called the operator of the Montego Bay Resort to report a bomb was in the building, according to Lt. Don Lininger.
The suspect used a house phone by the front desk, allowing casino personnel to trace the time of the call and view surveillance footage to see what phone was used, said Lininger.
Authorities identified a male on the phone at the time the call was placed and found Burke at the craps table where he was interviewed and arrested by West Wendover police for making a bomb threat, Lininger said.
Burke’s bail was set at $20,000.
