Sept. 7

Jeremy Hass, 41, of Bountiful, Utah was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to pay $694 after being found guilty of driving on a canceled, suspended, or revoked license, driving without a valid license and speeding 21-30 miles per hour over the limit.

 

Sept. 14

Joseph Michael Bohnstedt, 34, of Ely was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to serve 10 days in Elko County Jail, suspended one year on condition of serving 2.5 days in Elko County Jail with credit for 2.5 days served, attending DUI school, attending victim-impact panel, and to pay $582 after being found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.

Sept. 15

Juan Jose Espitia, 22, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to serve 15 days in Elko County Jail, suspended one year on condition of no new charges, to only drive with a valid driver’s license and to pay $637 after being found guilty of driving on a canceled, suspended or revoked license and driving without a valid license.

Ezekiel Dale Perkins, 32, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to serve 30 days in Elko County Jail and to pay $637 after being found guilty of driving on a canceled, suspended or revoked license and failure to decrease speed.

Sept. 27

Jacob Ryan Valline, 28, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to pay $112 after being found guilty of being a pedestrian under the influence on the highway.

Sept. 29

Marco Antonio Ventura, 18, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to pay $352 after being found guilty of driving without a valid license.

Felicia Wiley, 20, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to pay $737 after being found guilty of two counts of transferring computer data with a loss of $500 or less.

Oct. 19

Patric Daniel Lewis, 25, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to serve 90 days in Elko County Jail, suspended two years on condition of serving five days in Elko County Jail with credit for 10 hours served, attending DUI school, attending victim-impact panel, abstaining from alcohol or illegal drugs for two years, no new charges other than minor traffic violations, and to pay $582 after being found guilty of DUI of alcohol and or drugs.

Nov. 30

Steven Bradley Schwartzkopf, 37, of Saratoga, Wyo., was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of failure to register as a convicted sex offender.

Toni Lee Taylor, 49, of Orem, Utah, was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of sale or manufacture of a schedule I controlled substance and unlawful possession of substances for sale.

Joshua Boswell, 23, transient was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face two charges of possession of a controlled substance not for the purpose of sale.

Dec. 2

Rick M.C. Robles, 38, of Elko was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of grand larceny.

Dec. 6

Tatum Joe Bell, 34, of Spring Creek was bound over to district court by acting Justice of the Peace Patricia Calton to face charges of five counts of conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act and seven counts of acquiring or obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or forgery.

Dec. 7

Jacob Morgan Amsden, 22, of Henrico, Va., was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of unlawful possession of substances for sale; possession of a controlled substance not for the purpose of sale; and sale, exchange transfer or give away of a controlled or counterfeit substance.

Joshua Leroy Upshaw was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of robbery with a deadly weapon and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon.

Dale Moore, 32, of Wells was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of possession of a controlled substance not for the purpose of sale.

Leslie Louise Hernandez, 20, of Elko was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of grand larceny.

Timothy Joseph McCarty, 55, of Reno was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of assault with a deadly weapon, resisting public officer with use of a deadly weapon and attempt to resist a public officer with use of a deadly weapon.

David J. Romero, 40 of West Valley, Utah was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of two counts of burglary.

Christopher J. Peters, 33, of Las Vegas was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face 22 charges of attempting to acquire or obtain possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception, subterfuge or alteration.

Dec. 14

Ralph Torres, 29, of Ontario, Canada, was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of possession of a firearm by an ex-felon and carrying a concealed weapon.

Eric Puentes, 29, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to pay $1,137 after being found guilty of possession of a drug which may not be introduced into interstate commerce.

Christopher Shawn Ipson, 21, of Salt Lake City was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of uttering forged instruments.

Dec. 19

Victor Alfonso Rodriguez, 27, of Wendover was bound over to district court by acting Justice of the Peace Barbara Nethery to face charges of two counts theft of between $250 and $2,500.

Dec. 22

David Alan Goff, 29, of Elko was bound over to district court by Elko Justice of the Peace Al Kacin to face charges of coercion, false imprisonment and battery by strangulation.

Oct. 17

Brenna Jean Byars, 20, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Municipal Judge Al Kacin to attend a victim-impact panel and to pay $352 after being found guilty of consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Nov. 23

Jesus Eduardo Pino, 30, of Elko was sentenced by Elko Municipal Judge Al Kacin to serve 10 days in Elko County Jail and to pay $837 with credit for five days and 14 hours served in Elko County Jail after being found guilty of resisting an officer.
