ELKO — Police called to a home on Court Street found a man who may have stolen prescription medication from an acquaintance, said Elko Police Lt. Ty Trouten.
Officers arrested Cassidy W. Carson, 19, for attempted possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and buying, possessing or receiving stolen property.
Carson was at the home, where his girlfriend lives with her guardians, when police arrived. He appeared to be under the influence of drugs, Trouten said.
Carson was out on bail on a previous possession charge, according to court records. His bail was revoked and he was being held at the Elko County Jail on $6,841 bail.
