Petrocchi was released from this arrest on his own recognizance, but this is but one of many arrests for him as a reoffender. Petrocchi was arrested on October 5, 2013 for DUI and then again on October 28, 2013 for a new charge of DUI. Petrocchi is a career criminal with charges and convictions to include assault on police officers, domestic violence, theft, drug possession, public intoxication, public urination, and DUIs nation-wide. His criminal activity has but only began in Elko, with a large nationwide history of criminal activity. Here’s another of many police blotters on him:

March 26, 1998 in Washington Voices
Officers arrested 40-year-old Michael K. Petrocchi who gave his address as 338 W. Columbia.
He was arrested for assault, Cottam said.
When an officer searched Petrocchi for weapons, he lunged at the officer and tried to kick his feet from out under him, Cottam said. Police backup arrived and Petrocchi attempted to kick several of them, according to police.
Petrocchi was put in a patrol car, kicked open a door and tried to escape. After being subdued he was arrested on an additional count of assaulting officers.
A records check revealed Petrocchi has a lengthy record of arrests for assaults on officers over the past 16 years, has convictions for domestic violence, theft and drug possession in Washington and California.
Today, Petrocchi is living out of his white van (KY Tags) with his helpless & hopeless 25lb. adorable puppy dog (“Manny”). Please rescue Manny & call 775-777-7300 immediately should you come across them.
