Mother got great care at NNRH
On October 10, 2017 we called 911 for the second time in six weeks and my mother was transported to Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital. From the emergency room to being admitted and spending four days in the hospital, my mother received the most amazing and outstanding care I have ever seen in a hospital. After raising two boys and part of a large family, I have been around many hospitals in many cities. NNRH ranks above all in my view.
Because of my mother’s issues, she encountered several departments while in the hospital and every one was truly amazing. Nurses, doctors and technicians that really care and are compassionate. Not one person in that week or the previous visit of two days a month earlier did we encounter anyone that wasn’t totally attentive, caring and great communicators.
So for those of you wondering, my mother is on Medicare, it’s not exactly a profitable insurance. Yet she received the same outstanding care anyone else receives. I do not understand the negative things that a few folks say about the hospital, I see no evidence of anything but the very best treatment.
For the record my mother was thought to have a heart attack the first trip and the cardiologist that NNRH called in was stellar. Doctor Badger wasted no time in finding the problem and relieving our anxiety. The second time it was internal bleeding and a severe COPD episode. Again, the doctors that attended to her were awesome, Doctor Fricke is one of the most compassionate and devoted doctors I have met in a very long time. It is obvious he cares deeply about his patients and trying to make their lives better. The resident doctors were also amazing and truly worked very hard to get my mother well and home.
Mr. Palogi, the CEO of NNRH, has certainly built an amazing team of professionals whose morale was great and that work together well. Thank you NNRH, I wouldn’t hesitate to bring anyone I love to your hospital and services!
