According to Politico, in the last election cycle our Republican senator, Dean Heller, accepted $108,515 from gun lobbyist special interest groups.
Our democratic senator, Catherine Cortez Masto, accepted no contributions from these groups.
In fact, Republicans in general accepted $5,900,000 of such contributions while Democrats in general accepted $106,000 total.
So, if we're concerned about which party represents us and our fears for the safety of our children from gun violence, it would seem we'll know for whom to vote next November. The ones who aren't being "paid" to look the other way.
