Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Reservation Owyhee, NV West Main Headworks and Thacker Check Replacement Sealed Bids for the construction of the West Main Headworks and Thacker Check Replacement will be received by the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Reservation, in the Water Resource office at the office of the Water Resource Director, until 5:00 pm Mountain Time on February 8, 2019 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Construction of the work will occur in the Fall of 2019, The Project generally consists of: Demolition of the existing West Main Headworks; construction of a new West Main Headworks structure; construction of a new Thacker Lateral Check Structure; procurement and installation of miscellaneous metal work for both the West Main Headworks and the Thacker Check, including but not limited to guard rails, walkways, and stop log guides; structural excavation and backfill; and procurement and installation of riprap; and other incidental items of work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis, with additive or deductive alternate bid items (if any) as indicated in the Bid Form. Complete bidding documents for this project are available in electronic form. Printed copies of the bid documents are not available from the Engineer or the Owner. The CONTRACTOR that is awarded the project will be responsible for printing all documents necessary for performing the work. A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 P.M. Mountain Time on January 30, 2019. Perspective bidders will meet with the Water Resource Director at the Tribal Headquarters; the Water Resource Director will accompany meeting attendees to the project locations.
