NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS The 1st installment of the 2019-2020 real property tax is due and payable and will be delinquent after August 19, 2019. Any property owner that has not received a tax notice for the 2019/2020 taxes should contact the Elko County Treasurer. The Elko County Courthouse has a secure entrance from the courtyard on the Court Street side of the building. All other entrances are closed. Everyone entering the building must pass through security screening. If you prefer not to come through security you may use the drop box located in the parking lot on Court Street across from the Courthouse. Payments may also be made through your bank bill pay service or online at www.elkocountynv.net A 4% penalty will be applied if any one installment of taxes are not received within 10 days following the due date. A 5% penalty will be applied if two installments of taxes are not received within 10 days following the due date. A 6% penalty will be applied if three installments of taxes are not received within 10 days following the due date. A 7% penalty will be applied if four installments of taxes are not received within 10 days following the due date. Prior year’s delinquent property taxes are penalized at 10% annual interest.
