Alex Klekas

Elko's Alex Klekas gashes the middle of Lowry's defense Saturday at Centennial Gymnasium. Klekas scored 11 of his game-high 23 points in the third quarter, and the Indians bounced back from Tuesday's loss to Spring Creek with a 40-point, 70-30 victory over the Buckaroos. Elko finished the league season with a 15-1 record and will have a first-round bye for the 3A North regional tournament. The Indians will face the No. 4 Fernley-No. 5 South Tahoe winner at 8 p.m. Friday at Centennial Gymnasium.
