There are few things that we appreciate more than a good party – and this time was no exception. We couldn’t be more appreciative for everyone that attended our Annual Christmas Party/Casino Night and can’t wait to do it again next year. Guests were given the opportunity to test their skills on the Museum’s antique gaming tables. Dice were rolling, chips were flying and at the end of the night, Daniel Cervantes had the most chips in his hand and was announced the winner of Casino Night. He was presented with $250 in Chamber Checks to spend with our Chamber members. We love keeping our dollars here in our community. If you didn’t win on the tables, there were plenty of chances to win raffle prizes or be the highest bidder in the silent auctions.
The Hors de’ Oeuvre challenge brought out some amazing food prepared by local restaurants. Participating this year were Gold Dust West, Hilton Garden Inn, Silver Haze BBQ, and Tomato’s Italian Grill. It was a very close race, but Kevin and Italia Babcock, owners of Silver Haze BBQ came out on top. They will now be able to showcase the winner’s trophy at their restaurant, and have bragging rights for the next year.
The Chamber’s board of directors hosts the party every year, to thank our members and community for a wonderful year. Without your support, the Chamber would not be able to host events, take care of Sherman Station and provide important benefits to our members.
As we move into 2018, we wish everyone a blessed and successful New Year.
