Movie critic Bruce Miller says Netflix’s “Space Force” gives us an insider’s look at a military branch that’s not ready to launch. The cast is filled with actors who are capable of so much, but far too often they’re left at the launching pad, tethered when they should be shooting for the stars. “Space Force” just hits and misses. “The Lovebirds,” meanwhile, succeeds largely because its stars don’t hold back. “The Lovebirds” was supposed to fill theaters this time of year and it might have too. There’s plenty here to love, particularly the two leads.
