Alberta Louise Jones, 77, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s, December 25, 2017 in Twin Falls Idaho. Alberta was born March 17, 1940 in Gardner, Maine, the daughter of John and Lillian Gearrey.

Alberta attended high school in Halfway, Oregon, where she met the love of her life, Jack Jones. They were married July 25, 1957 in Winnemucca Nevada. The couple celebrated 38 years of marriage upon the death of Jack in 1995.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, brothers; Thomas and Raymond, sisters; Blanch, Bernice and Harriet, and son-in-law, Lloyd (Kit) Carson.

Her survivors include daughters; Jerri Jones, Lorri (Albert) Hankins, of Elko, Billi Jo Carson of Parma, Idaho, Jodi (Ron) Cooley of Spring Creek; sister Joyce (Edward) DeVinaspre of Boise, Idaho and brother John (Sarah) Gearrey of Nampa, Idaho; grandchildren Sam (Breonna) Hankins, Amanda McBrayer, Shilo Smith, Tucker Smith, Lindsay (Travis) Witters and Gage Christiance; along with 10 great grandchildren, with one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on January 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn, Elko, Nevada.
