September 8, 1974-December 29, 2017

On December, 29, 2017, Brandon was welcomed into heaven with outstretched arms by our Heavenly Father and all our heavenly angels. He now knows the peace and a rest that this physical life could not offer. He was accidentally hit by a car while walking home from work in Pensacola, Florida.

Brandon was born in Elko, Nevada on September 8, 1974 and was loved by many. He had a huge heart for helping people; often times to a fault, always trying to see the best in everyone. He was a really hard worker always giving it his best. He loved to draw and was very gifted; always dreaming of becoming a tattoo artist one day (he would have been a good one). He really enjoyed playing chess and video games, and because of his friendly, kind hearted spirit, people were drawn to him and he became friends quickly with people all around the world.

We are going to miss him terribly, but we take comfort in knowing that he has arrived safely HOME where the chains are broken and the streets are golden and he will be watching over us, now more than ever and without any limitations. He’s now our heavenly angel. 1st Corinthians 15:35-58

From Heaven he was delivered

As a baby unto you

I’m trusting you to do

Everything that’s needed to nurture and to love

He’s your little angel

Sent from me above.

You see … spirits cannot be

Held, hugged or kissed

The body that was his vessel

Is what we’ll surely miss.

But his spirit that I shared with you

On that one special day

That is what I promise

To never take away.

So he is back in heaven now

This earth was not his place

He taught us all he could about dignity and grace

So as you grieve and weep

To see him once again

I promise he is waiting here

With open arms in heaven. (Author Unknown)

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Martha Thomas and Aunt, Carol Hyde and is survived by his mom, Jesse James; step father, Bob James; sister, Lyndsey Cortez (Ernie); two nephews; Cruzer and Julian, baby sister Madison Farnell (Rhett), grandfather, Dale Thomas, Tia Anita Geyer (Chester), Aunt Len (Ed) and several cousins. A private family service is being planned for a later date.

Soar with the Angels my love, until we meet again
