Delbert Arthur Reese, 80, of Pahrump, Nev., went home to his Lord December 18, 2016. Delbert was born on December 7, 1936, in Long Beach, Calif. He graduated from California State University, Fresno, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. His passion was agriculture, mainly cattle ranching, where he spent the first part of his career managing large, corporate ranches, many in the Elko area. Delbert owned and operated a successful landscape spraying business in Klamath Falls, Ore., before his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Karen Suzanne; son, Daniel (Jade) Reese; son, Tomas (Candace) Reese; daughter, Janet Reese; seven grandchildren; brother, David (Penelope) Reese, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held on December 22, 2016 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 781 Gamebird Rd., Pahrump, NV. Graveside services will be held in Klamath Falls, Oregon at a later date. The family requests donations in Delbert’s name be made to Cal Farley’s Boy Ranch, PO Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174-0001.
