Born October 12, 1929 in Elko, Nevada to Sam and Audrey Baker. Died March 5, 2017 in Battle Mountain, Nevada of natural causes.

He was the youngest of three boys Richard and Raymond whom preceded him in death along with his parents Sam and Audrey. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Lloyd worked at various jobs before being drafted into the military. He served 2 years active duty in the US Army from March 20, 1951 to March 22, 1953 and 3 years reserve with an honorable discharge on July 24, 1956.

He loved the outdoors hunting, fishing and prospecting, he also enjoyed music. Lloyd retired after 20 years of service from the BLM as an equipment operator.

Lloyd’s funeral was March 8, 2017 at Burns Funeral Home with internment in the Elko cemetery.
