JOSEPH WADE ANDREOZZI

September 1, 1994 – December 23, 2017

Joseph ‘Joe’ Wade Andreozzi, 23, died unexpectedly Saturday December 23, 2017 at his home in Sparks, NV.

He leaves behind his mother, Roberta “Bert” Andreozzi, sister, Madison Andreozzi, step-mother Darcy Vaughn, grandfathers Gilbert Flores and Clarence Andreozzi, aunts Tammy Andreozzi and Loretta Flores Gunter (Tim), uncles Amadeo Flores (Holly) and Patrick Flores, and lifelong best friends, Austin Sherwood and José Torres as well as numerous cousins and other family members and friends who love him and will miss him each and every day.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Brian Wade Andreozzi in 2012, his grandmother, Carol Jaramillo Flores in 2008, and uncle, Pasqualé Flores.

Born on September 1, 1994, at Elko General Hospital, just as both his parents had been years before, he was raised in Elko, NV. As a fifth generation rural Nevadan, Joe was taught to hunt, fish, camp and enjoy all things outdoors by his dad. At age 16, he was the envy of everyone for drawing the “Big 3” a buck, bull, and an antelope, his dad was so proud (and a bit jealous too!)

Joe was also taught the love and appreciation of art, music, and fashion by his mom; she would take the kids to the cities and drag them through endless galleries, museums, and concerts. Music and art grew to be two of Joe’s favorite things.

Joe was known for his intelligence, quick wit and strong work ethic. Joe started working for his dad in his AT&T store in the 7th grade, quickly catching on and becoming one of the top sales associates in the region. After graduating high school, he was offered a store in the Reno/Carson area and continued in the cellular sales business. Joe held various positions from sales to managerial, but it wasn’t uncommon for him to continue to get his regulars from Elko to call him with questions about how to work their phones. He could fix anything, just like his dad. Joe was a student at Truckee Meadows Community College and majoring in Business.

A celebration of life to take place in the late Spring, his ashes to be spread with his father. A scholarship in his honor to be set up at Elko High School.
