Passed away peacefully at Highland Manor in Elko, NV. Milton was born and raised in Marin County, California. Milton did a little bit of everything in his life. Milton left high school early and joined the Merchant Marines in 1943. He helped build Liberty Ships during WWII. After the war he had several jobs such as, furniture mover, fire fighter, commercial fisherman, but finally retired as a union truck driver. Milton moved to Tuscarora, NV in the later 80s to enjoy his passion of hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. In 2014, when Milton’s health deteriorated he moved to Elko.
Milton is survived by son, Daniel and daughter Paulette, both of Montana, step-son, Ted Kemp; many nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel J and Lilian E. Azevedo; brother, Ralph,, wife, Lynne Azevedo and step-son Rick Kemp.
