Nevada Copper Corp. filled two leadership positions for its Pumpkin Hollow copper project near Yerington.
The company announced March 26 that David Swisher was named vice president of operations, and Timothy Drake was named general manager.
Swisher is a mining engineer who most recently served as mine manager at the East Boulder Mine in Montana for Sibanye-Stillwater.
Drake is a mechanical engineer whose experience includes operations roles at the Fort Knox Gold Mine in Alaska and Grasberg Copper Mine in Indonesia.
The Pumpkin Hollow underground mine is expected to move into construction soon, and the open pit is undergoing an optimization program.
