Elko District Court Department I – Judge Nancy Porter

Jan. 23

Aaron Wesley Keller, 29, pleaded guilty to burglary and was given a suspended sentence of one to six years in prison, was placed on probation for five years, and was ordered to pay $2,800 in restitution to the victim and fulfill other conditions of his probation.

Jan. 25

Phillip James Gregory, 40, pleaded no contest to possession of a controlled substance, was given a suspended sentence of 12-34 months in prison to be served concurrently with a previous sentence, was placed on probation for five years and was ordered to fulfill other conditions related to his probation.

Jan. 28

Jesus Omar Juardo-Chavez, 25, pleaded no contest to assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to one to two years in prison.

Jan. 31

Miguel Angel Esparza, 28, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit cheating at a gambling game and was ordered to pay $450 restitution to the Rainbow Casino and pay $2,000 to the Elko County Public Defender’s Fund.

Victor DeSantiago, 28, pleaded no contest to conspiracy to commit cheating at a gambling game and was ordered to pay $2,865 restitution to Rainbow Casino, pay $507 restitution to Montego Bay, and pay a $200 fine.

Elko District Court Department II – Judge Al Kacin

Jan. 22

Darian Michelle Hoover, 23, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance, was given a suspended sentence of 90 days in jail, was placed on probation for 18 months and was ordered to serve 12 days in jail, and fulfill other conditions related to her probation.

Cheyanne Marie Hausman, 22, pleaded guilty to possession of a scheduled controlled substance and was given a suspended sentence of 12-32 months in prison, was placed on probation for five years with credit for 32 months on probation, and was ordered to serve 270 days in jail, pay $160 in extradition fees, and fulfill other conditions related to her probation.

Dylan James Wells, 24, pleaded guilty to two counts of battery on an officer or protected person and was given a suspended sentence of 270 days on each count to be served concurrently, was placed on probation for three years and was ordered to complete inpatient treatment and fulfill other conditions related to his probation.

Jan. 30

Brandon Kenneth Evans pleaded no contest to four counts of statutory sexual seduction and was sentenced to 5-16 years in prison and lifetime supervision and was ordered to pay $1,905 fee for a psychosexual evaluation.

Jan. 31

Michael Christopher Lindsay Jr., 32, pleaded guilty to attempted burglary and was given a suspended sentence of 15-38 months in prison, was placed on probation for five years and was ordered to pay $600 restitution to the victim, serve eight days in jail, and fulfill other conditions of his probation.

Eli Thomas, 22, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 60 days in jail and ordered to pay a $250 fine.
