CARLIN – Four Carlin residents were arrested Tuesday afternoon when police searched a home on Fir Street.

“We had heard there had been some drug activity at a house on Fir Street,” said Police Chief Dennis Fobes, “so we applied for a search warrant.”

Police found about 2 grams of methamphetamine, prescription drugs, stolen firearms and drug paraphernalia, Fobes said.

Two children were removed from the home and placed in the custody of Child and Family Services.

Sean T. Morrison, 28, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, and possession of a hypodermic device. His bail was set at $25,640.

Lucas C. Craig, 38, was arrested for buying, possessing or receiving stolen property. His bail was $20,000.

Janice Tomblin, 38, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic device, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure of convicted person to notify law enforcement of change of address. Her bail was $7,420.

Elizabeth A. Morrison, 28, was arrested for using or possessing drug paraphernalia, with bail set at $640.

Fobes said no further arrests are anticipated in the case.
