ELKO – A Utah woman who allegedly used a stolen credit card at a West Wendover casino was booked Monday on multiple charges, including felony drug possession.
“West Wendover officers were called to the Montego Bay hotel to take a report of a guest that possibly used a stolen credit card,” said Lt. Don Lininger.
Linda Kennicker 45, Salt Lake City was identified by security personnel.
“Kennicker admitted to officers that she had used the card to purchase a meal, items in the gift shop and attempts to gain cash at an ATM,” Lininger said.
She was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamines and a glass pipe used for ingesting the drug, he added.
Kennicker was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance; use or possession of drug paraphernalia; buying, possessing or receiving stolen property; and four counts of using a credit or debit card without the owner’s consent. Her bail was set at $26,640.
