Todd and Debra Allen of Elko lost their son Andrew Allen in a car crash at Lamoille Summit on June 10.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family to help cover funeral costs and related expenses.
The GoFundMe page says "Andrew was a cherished member of their family, known for his kindness and the joy he brought to those around him. His sudden passing has left them devastated and struggling to cope with the loss."
"Coming together as a community can help ease some of the stress and allow them to focus on healing and remembering Andrew."
As of Friday afternoon, almost $14,000 has been raised toward the $16,000 GoFundMe goal.
