After being held shotless for the whole first half, the Spartans quickly got a shot on goal to start the second half. The Golden Eagles were able to maintain their slim one-goal advantage deep into the second half, until Abby Linderman scored the first of two Golden Eagle goals in the final five minutes to push the lead to 2-0. The third and final goal came from Ava Stokes off a corner kick from Hallie Bringhurst.

The Golden Eagles now shift their focus to Saturday, when they will host 17th-ranked Snow College at 11 a.m. in Jerome.
